Gorgeous Gray Shades
Posted on 23-10-2011

The idea that grey is not necessary boring is very popular all over the world this Autumn. The gorgeous pictures of the talented photographer Petra Bindel  demonstrate different ideas for home decoration in different grey shades. It could be as a color of the wall, like furniture, tableware or even a pretty monochrome print on the wall.

Green tea by Pierre Herme!!!
Posted on 17-10-2011

I am A big fun of green tea and now i am obsessed  with the Pierre Herme’s amazing green tea collection of products!!!!!!!!!

Selection of beverages representing my world of tastes, sensations and pleasures. ”

Pierre Hermé

Sencha green tea is named for the region of Japan where it is grown. Like all green teas, it is less fermented and less tannic than a black tea. Its taste is more pronounced and its colour much lighter when steeped.
Sencha green tea reveals a subtle blend of aromas : almond, cardamom and jasmine.

“I consider the creation of pastries as an Art with a capital A, in that it is a true form of expression, just like music, painting, or sculpture. I imagine and then create pastries the way I would like them to taste. Many people, places, and cultures throughout the world inspire me in the creative process, but at the core, pleasure is my only guide.”

Pierre Hermé

Macaron biscuit, cream flavoured with matcha green tea, azuki (Japanese red kidney bean) compote seasoned with lime zests and ginger.

This cake features two Japanese flavours: matcha green tea cream, and azuki (Japanese red kidney beans). East meets West. The bitterness of the tea is well paired with the creamy sweetness of the red kidney beans seasoned with lime zest, fresh ginger and rice vinegar.

“Herbe d’amandes” was created by Pierre Hermé in cooperation with master perfumer Jean-Michel Duriez. Like a line from a haiku, the name of this candle suggests a sophisticated bouquet of aromas to the imagination, in which the captivating power of tonka bean from Mexico is underscored by the green, herbal notes of yerba.

An inspiring candle by Astier de Villatte
Posted on 15-10-2011

It’s fall—oh sorry, autumn—and that means it’s time for artisanal lighting and wafts of wisteria. Enter one of my favourite shop in Paris,”Astier de Villatte” The haute French candle-makers (among furniture, glassware and lots of other home things) have just launched five little numbers in their trademark handmade ceramic containers. The fragrances are inspired by scent-specific locales around the world: the seaside French resort of Cabourg,  the rainforests of Yakushima, an island teeming with ancient cedar trees and wild azaleas,  the licorice-tinged alpine village of Zermatt, the secret gardens of Old Quebec.
